For more than 35 years, we've refined a homebuilding process that combines expert craftsmanship with clear communication and personal attention. Our experienced team works closely with you from contract to closing, providing guidance, answering questions, and ensuring every milestone is completed with care.
The Path to Ownership
Sales Process
Your homebuilding journey begins by selecting the Boone community, homesite, and award-winning floor plan that best fits your lifestyle. With the guidance of your Community Manager, you'll review your vision for your new home, personalization options, and finalize the details of your purchase. Once your purchase agreement is complete, we'll prepare your home for the next phase of the process, where your ideas begin to take shape. Once your purchase agreement is complete, you'll be added to the Boone Homes app, your central hub for the homebuilding journey. Throughout construction, you'll be able to track progress, receive updates, view photos and important documents, and communicate directly with your Boone Homes team, giving you one convenient place to stay informed every step of the way.
Plan Review Meeting
During your Plan Review Meeting, you'll meet with your dedicated Production Manager to review your home's construction plans before permitting begins. Together, you'll confirm that your blueprints align with your purchase agreement, review community requirements, discuss the construction timeline, and address any final eligible plan revisions. Once everything is approved, your plans are submitted for permitting and your home moves into the next phase of construction.
Selections
A member of our Selections Team will reach out to schedule your design appointments and guide you through each phase of the selections process. Before your appointments, you'll receive a personalized selections guide outlining your upcoming meetings, important deadlines, and what to expect along the way. Throughout the process, our team will help to coordinate appointments with our trusted vendor partners and provide the resources and guidance you need to confidently select everything from exterior colors and cabinetry to countertops, flooring, appliances, lighting, tile, and more. It's a collaborative experience designed to help you create a home that reflects your personal style.
Construction
Once your home receives its building permit, construction officially begins, and you'll be introduced to your Superintendent, who will oversee your home's construction from start to finish. Your Superintendent will keep you informed with weekly progress updates through the Boone Homes app, where you can view photos, track milestones, and communicate with your Boone Homes team throughout the building process.
As construction progresses, you'll also participate in key scheduled meetings, including milestone walkthroughs such as your electrical walkthrough, where applicable, along with other in-person meetings to review progress, answer questions, and ensure every detail is coming together as planned. These checkpoints provide opportunities to see your home take shape while giving you confidence in the quality and craftsmanship behind every Boone home.
Moving Into Your New Home
As closing day approaches, your Superintendent will schedule a New Home Orientation to walk you through the features and operation of your home. During this meeting, you'll learn about your home's systems, review warranty information and maintenance recommendations, discuss emergency procedures, and have the opportunity to ask questions before move-in. Any remaining items identified during the walkthrough will be documented and addressed as needed before closing.
To help ensure a smooth closing process, we'll coordinate with your closing agent and provide the information needed leading up to closing, including your final closing package. On closing day, you'll receive the keys to your new Boone home and officially begin your next chapter.
Warranty
Our Warranty Team is here to support you long after move-in. Approximately 60 days after closing, we'll reach out and ask you to submit any warranty items you've identified so we can coordinate service. Around your one-year anniversary, we'll follow up again to complete your one-year warranty review and address any additional warrantable items, giving you continued peace of mind as you settle into your new Boone home.
